A century of Sicilian art in Noto

The exhibition curated by Vittorio Sgarbi and set up at the Convitto delle Arti in Noto tells more than a century of Sicilian art and can be visited until 30 October.
The artists on display range from Guttuso to Caruso to Guccione to emerging young people with more than 120 paintings, 40 sculptures and 20 photographs.
Also on display are Carla Accardi, Alberto Abate, Salvatore Fiume, Emilio Greco, Francesco Messina, Giuseppe Migneco, Elisa Nicolaci, Pietro Consagra and Alessandro Bazan.

An exhibition that outlines not only the Sicilian cultural identity but also the Italian one with the presence in the last century of such a number of artists that no other Italian region can boast.

Here Noto, with its five-year program of exhibitions and reviews, reconfirms itself as a city of art, this time with a major exhibition that aspires to be exported also abroad.
